We have finally released XL-DBQuery Version 1.1 which includes the new query parameter feature that allows users to dynamically update query criteria values from Excel. I would just like to say a big thank you for everyone’s patience over this release, Vista proved to be a little bit more tricky than anticipated and this ultimately led to a slight delay in our original Mar release date.

For those interested, here is a brief list of Version 1.1 new features and tweaks:-
- New feature added to XL-DBQuery that allows users to create parameter queries that can be dynamically updated from Excel. (Requires ODBC connection)
- New Save/Save As Data Source library file feature added.
- New feature added that allows users to return query results to Excel without needing to run and preview the query first.
- Query builder load speed has been improved when connecting to Data Sources containing large numbers of tables and fields.
- Improved data source connection wizard to easily connect & query Microsoft Excel and Access - General improvements to overall look and feel.
- Fully compatible with Microsoft Office 2007.
- Fully compatible with Windows Vista O/S.
- Existing customers can upgrade to Version 1.1 for free.
